Tabarka Studio is a producer and wholesaler of hand-painted decorative terra cotta tiles, which is based out of Scottsdale, Arizona ("About Tabarka Studio", 2012). Tabarka Studio had a legacy system in place for their telecommunication needs. Nextiva stepped in to evaluate Tabarka Studio’s current phone system and create a case study to see how a VoIP service would benefit the organization. Two problems that Tabarka Studios had with their legacy system was that only two employees could be on the phone at the same time, and their answering service did not route calls to people within the company (Campbell, 2012). When two employees were on the phone at the same time, incoming calls would be met with a busy signal, which could ultimately result in a loss of business. Tabarka Studio was in a well overdue need for a new solution for telecommunications.
Nextiva provided a VoIP service that included a multiline system with local and toll free numbers. According to Campbell (2012) “The toll-free option is particularly valuable to Tabarka as the company has clients all over the world” (para. 3). Tabarka Studio was now (Campbell, 2012) “…gaining better positioning by creating a customer service model built on professionalism” (para. 7). No longer were callers met with a busy signal when phone lines were tied up, they were now met with hold music and waited for the next available representative.
It is quite obvious that Tabarka Studio was receiving a number of benefits from transitioning to their old
