OBJECT:
To determine the presence of Vitamin C by number of many methods.
INTRODUCTION:
Vitamin C is powerful antioxidant and it is also known as ascorbic acid and found mostly in fruits and vegetables it helps the body form and maintain connective tissue including bone, blood vessel and skin. Most experts recommended that Vitamin C from a diet high in fruits and vegetables rather than taking supplements. Fresh squeezed orange juice or fresh frozen concentrate is better pick than ready to drink orange juice. The fresh juice contain more active Vitamin C. Drink fresh frozen juice within one week after reconstituting it for the most benefit. If you prefer ready to drink orange juice buy it 3-4 weeks before the expiration date and drink it within one

METHOD 03:
SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION:
A shimadzu spectrophotometer (model UV-1601) with a pair of 1 cm quartz cell was used. For this reagent required 5% of metaphosphoric acid , 10%acetic acid, 15 gms of solid metaphosphoric acid were dissolved in a mixture of 40 ml of glacial acetic acid and 450 ml of distilled water in a 500 ml volumetric flask this solution was filtered and collected.
