Experiment:
For each age group, there are 10 individuals. All blood pressures will be taken at once and displayed. The AVERAGE blood pressure is placed within this table from that group and gender.
To determine average blood pressure readings. There were 10 males between the ages of 11-17. Here is the data that was provided: 126/80, 119/77, 110/70, 122/79, 120/76, 110/70, 117/77, 119/79, 110/72, 114/74. To get the average, add up all of the systolic numbers then divide by 10 because you had 10 people in the sample. Repeat for the diastolic readings.
Average systolic reading for this group. (126+119+110+122+120+110+117+119+110+114) /10 = 116.7 = 117
Average Diastolic reading: (80+77+70+79+76+70+77+79+72+74)/ 10 = 75.4 Final average blood pressure for this group would be 117/ 75
