Brush With Genius: Vincent van Gogh

Serious, acting or speaking sincerely and in earnest, rather than in a joking or halfhearted manner. Well let me tell you, all this can define Vincent van Gogh he was a very very serious man when it can down to his work of art , As you can tell from the flim that he put his all into his paintings. Vincent was a post impressionist painter of
Dutch origin whose work, notable for its rough beauty, emtional honest and bold color,
Vincent paintings had a far reaching influence on the 20th century art. Vincent did not begin painting until his late twenties, he was not very good at first but later on down his career he got better, matter of fact he completed many of his best known works during the last two years of his life. Vincent died at a very young age , he died at the age of 37 years old but he produced alot of work , he produced more than 2,100 arts, consisting of 860 oil paintings and more than 1,300 watercolors, drawings, sketches and prints. His work included self portraits, landscapes, still lifes, protraits and paintings of cypresses, wheat fields and sunflowers.

Vincent letters to his brother Theo, Vincent sent many letters to his brother Theo talking about his work of art, he loved writing letters to his brother about his worked of art , overall he wrote over 8 letters to his brother, In one letter he wrote to his brother he told him to sell his works for how much they look like they worth, and believe me his painting wasn't cheap. Some of his painting was worth 80 million dollars, Yeah you can see his painting was very very expensive .
