Unusual Coworker
Nowadays, there are different kinds of unusual coworkers that we work with in our jobs. These are people who are extremely come late to work, and who dress unprofessional for work, and who are favorite employees of the managers. This is crazy! Most often times in our life, we come across an unusual person, totally unrelated to us or events that propel us forward in our life. This can change everything in our job, just by meeting them or working with them in our job. Half the times we don’t realize that unusual person is staying late to make sure all the accounts numbers are correct for tomorrow morning or making up for lost time for coming to work late. We’ve all had experiences with someone like this before. We all know there is just something a bit off about him or her. Not sure what it is, but we definitely feel it. Sometimes it’s a positive feeling; sometimes it’s a negative feeling. For example a coworker comes late to work and the manager doesn’t say anything to him, because he is favorite employee. In most every job there’s always an employee who strolls in late for work and takes long lunched almost every day. There are a few people who will call and let their coworker know he or she will be running late to work due to an emergency. There are steps in dealing with a coworker who is always coming late to work. The first step too fine out if the employee is late because of a medical reason, such as depression, chronic fatigue or some disability. If he continues to violate your agreed-upon schedule, you may need to take disciplinary action. For example I work with a coworker who is always coming late to work every day and my boss doesn’t say anything to him, which is unusual for manager not to say anything. Most every company establishes a business casual dress code, which allows employees to work comfortably in the workplace. Yet, companies need their employee to project a professional image for customers, potential employees, and community visitors’.
