Admission Requirements Entry into UTP Stage II generally requires the successful completion of Year 12 of secondary school or its equivalent. Entry into UTP Stage I generally requires the successful completion of Year 11 or its equivalent. Specific academic requirements are listed on the next page. Not all qualifications are listed, so if you have other qualifications, please send details to admissions@icmanitoba.ca for assessment. If you have completed secondary school, but your results do not qualify you for entry into UTP Stage II, you will be admitted to UTP Stage I. You must have successfully completed mathematics at a Year 12 level (or equivalent) to enter UTP Stage II in the Business, Arts or Science streams. If you do not meet this requirement, you may need to take the UTP Stage I Mathematics course in your first term of enrolment. Scholarship Two scholarships for one academic term's tuition are offered at each Navitas member institution. Where the Academic Assessment Committee must differentiate between equally qualified applicants, additional factors such as educational disadvantage, membership of a specific equity group and/or significantly adverse personal circumstances may be taken into account. Students are eligible to qualify for the scholarships after successful completion of their first term and after commencing their second term. Students can only be awarded the scholarship once. Students already in receipt of a scholarship may not be eligible for the Navitas scholarship. Students are required to pay for any additional courses or subjects or courses undertaken that are over the amount covered by the scholarship. Consent will be obtained prior to publishing student names on College websites. Information sessions ICM information sessions are free. They take place in Canada and around the world. Note that places are restricted, and are available on first-come, first-served basis.
