United States vs Denmark

INDIVIDUALISM
The United States is one of the most individualistic cultures in the world and Denmark has a high score for this category as well. There is a high preference for a loosely-knit social framework in which individuals are expected to take care of themselves and immediate family only in both cultures. It is easy to start doing business with both Americans and Danes as they are good at interacting with people they don’t know well.
POWER DISTANCE
Denmark is at the low end of the power distance scale while the United States is in the mid-low. Workplaces are very informal in Demark and all employees are expected to be consulted. Therefore, power is decentralized and managers count on the experience of their team members. Also, Denmark is the highest ranking country in terms of employee autonomy. As for the United States, I would say they are a little more centralized then Denmark and have a more formal workplace. In the United States employees are not thought to have equal power as their managers but they can still give them ideas and work with them on certain projects.
UNCERTAINTY AVOIDANCE
The United States scores a little below average. With that being said, they have a fair degree of acceptance for new ideas or willingness to try something new. Americans do not require a lot of rules and are less emotionally expressive than higher-scoring cultures. Denmark is on the low side
