Dear Senator Carl Levin, Hi my name is ________; I’m a student studying at _______. If it is alright I wish for a moment of your time, as an assignment for my American Government class, as the Armed Forces Committee (Chair), a member of the Homeland Security and Governmental Services Committee, Subcommittee on Federal Financial Management, Government Information, Federal Services, and International Security, and Homeland Security Subcommittee on Oversight of Government Management, Federal Workforce you are the best person to talk to. I wish to converse with you about gun control. It is an impossible task to dispose of guns in the United States. I realize the reason to get rid of guns is to get rid of mass killings on all levels. If you look at the history of humanity, guns aren’t the problem, People are the problem. If guns are banned, the people will just use bows, crossbows, bats, pipes, bombs, knives; if it hurts someone and they can get their hands on it, it will happen. It is sad to know there are people out there who just enjoy making others suffer. Guns are just a tool used. Guns are also used by task forces, hunters, and Military. If they are taken away from the people that may start a few riots, because that’s promoting that the government has more power than the people. On another note: gun smiths, gun sellers, CCW instructors, hunting permit instructors, and magazine writers that deals with guns will all lose their jobs which will raise the unemployment
