Working relationships: these are relationships that are formed whilst within the workplace, such as work colleagues, and it is necessary to maintain a professional nature whilst at work, the sense of a business relationship. It involves the concepts of teamwork, working with colleagues towards common goals of which is set out with the companies agreed ways of working, and therefore sharing same goals and purposes.
Professional relationships: these are relationships that are generally formed amongst friends, family members, or others within a social group; it creates an interpersonal relationship, often based on similar likes and / or social commitments. Other relationships formed can be of a romantic nature, based on love and family bonds.

There are many different working relationships within a care settings, below is a list of the types of them you may find within a care setting organisation.
Relationships between co – workers;
Between worker and manager;
Relationships with teams;
Relationships between different health professionals. Such as local authorities;
Other professional relationships; which may include the users of the service and their families and / health professionals.

1.1 Describe why it is important to adhere to the agreed scope of the job role.
It is important to adhere to the agreed scope of own job role in order to fulfil defined roles and responsibilities within own job description. Also as part of a contract of employment, employees have a legal responsibility to fulfil; including the need to apply professional boundaries, as well as be accountable, in order to work within professional limitations and meet the required performance of the job.

It is necessary and part of own job role that as an employee I have both knowledge and access to relevant current legislation and full up-to-date policies and procedures that relate to own job role, such as safeguarding, infection control health and safety, moving and handling, equal opportunities and inclusive working, anti – discriminatory practice, dealing with emergency situations and safety and security.

In order to ensure that legislation is being complied with, as well as ensure and uphold organisational policies and procedures are being adhered to, as well as ensuring that current health a safety procedures are being followed, by reporting and maintain health and safety within the work place, as well as infection control in order to prevent spread of disease and / or illness.by familiarising and having relevant information on service users, and working as part of a team, upholding effective multi-disciplinary working, we can ensure agreed ways of working.; allowing us to deal effectively with emergencies, whilst also maintain a duty of care.

2.1 Explain why it is import to work in partnership with others.
It is important to form professional relationships with team members, colleagues, other professionals, as well as individuals and their family members in order to promote effective communication, effective ways of sharing accurate information. By understanding own role and responsibilities, the concept of empowerment and power sharing allows professional respect and allows to meet different professional expectations amongst multi – agency as well as integrated working.
