Understand local culture when recruiting talent in a different country can be critical for companies. Be able to understand the culture value of a society help company to determine what kind of compensation and benefits would be most appealing to their prospective employees. For example, many Asia countries have a high power-distance society, such as China and Japan, job titles are much more important in Asia than in most other developed markets.
