ENG 250
27 November 2012 The Boss is a character that has a multiply times where he changes; especially, on his journey with the king. We also see a good amount of change in the way that he views other people we marries Sandy and they have a child. Once upon a time earlier the novel, he was constantly short tempered with everything that Sandy did but now he has patience to spare with his new family. The Boss, moreover, continually follows his own words that were first said to bash other characters. “Whereas, when you are least expecting it, a man will now and then and do the very thing which is not natural for him to do” (pp. 349). The Boss continues to surprise me, like the King to him, with the sudden changes in behavior. When you believe that he is about to change and become a better person and open his eyes in the light of the reality that they are now placed in they go and switch gears into their old and stubborn selves. The characters in A Connecticut Yankee are all unpredictable character –besides Clarence however a secondary character. Hank Morgan has been placed into a simple time and instead turns and complete destroys the nation, culture, and language. The King has come from royalty and has spurts where he relates to the people in which his higher archery have degraded, but then he completely changes and is ready to turn over in three innocent people. Than Sandy who we believe to be a damsel in distress ends up kissing pigs
