Short Essay #5 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has several different ways it shows “functions.” The time/place of the movie was set in the medieval times. Character is very self-explanatory; there is a main character, Snow White. Attention of the movie is on the fact that she got kicked out of the castle. The subject of the movie is how is Snow White going to get back into the castle. The theme of the movie is that Snow White was kicked out of the castle by her evil step mom. All theses things are different aspects of the movie that help it be interesting to the viewer. The time and place of the movie was set in the older times. Medieval times. This was show by the castle, where she first was shown in. The fact the only means for transportation was by foot or if you were wealthy enough you could afford a horse. The place of the movie is hard to determine. The only aspect of the location that you get from the movie is that there is a castle with a wishing well next to a forest. The only thing we can tell is it is somewhere where there is rain. You can come to this conclusion due to the fact that it is not a desert on the outskirts of the castle there is forest. You see when the step mom hires the guy to kill snow white that she goes out to pick flowers. Character; there are many different characters in the movie Snow White is obviously the main character. Thin there are the seven dwarfs that are at first frightened by Snow White but thin grown to love her. They help her get threw the time she isn’t at the castle. A character that had an important role in the movie but doesn’t seem to get very much credit was the huntsman. He was the one who actually saved
