Recently my father and I went on a vacation to Acapulco, Mexico. It was only for a week but if felt like a month with so much to do. The first day there, we got settled into the hotel and hung out at the beach for a bit. We also went to Wal-Mart and tried to get some food. It was confusing because everything was in Spanish and the prices were in pesos instead of dollars. We managed to get some mayonnaise, bread, and (we think) ham for sandwiches. After that we just went back to the hotel and fell asleep.
The second day, we went and hung out on the beach most of the day. We did meet two guys, Juan and David, who offered to get some buddies of theirs to take us scuba diving and snorkeling. They also told us about renting jet skis, parasailing and swimming with dolphins. We said thanks and told them we would be back the next day. We went to a place called Vips for dinner. They had good food, but ordering was difficult because nobody spoke English there. The third day we were there, we met up with Juan and David and they took us scuba diving and snorkeling. The boat trip to the dive spot took about 20 minutes and, on the way there, they told us how to breathe with the scuba tanks. It is actually not so easy to do because your brain knows you are underwater and that if you breathe you drown so you hyperventilate quickly. After a few minutes to get used to it, I went down to the bottom which was only 30 or so feet deep. I learned that when you tap two rocks together under the water, fish nearby are attracted. I saw several kinds of fish at the bottom. It was an interesting day and we went back to the hotel after with sunburns. The fourth day was a fairly lazy day. We played in the ocean a little bit and went to the store for some things and I convinced dad to let me get a tortilla press which is used to cook tortillas and make them flat. For the rest of the day we just watched television. The fifth day we were there we talked to David and Juan about parasailing. They knew some guys down the beach that offered parasailing rides. They put the harness on me and we launched and they took me around the bay. Dad would have gone but he is uncomfortable with heights. After that, we went and ate lunch and rested for an hour or two. We went back to see David and Juan and we rented two jet skis for an hour. We rode them around the bay for a bit and we saw a place
