Prayer in Schools
The article that I choose to write about is having prayer in schools. My article not only talked about having prayer in schools but about having religion in schools all together. After reading this article where she talked about students helping out other students during their spring break that are in poverty and needed help with activities after school and with tutoring. Ms. Palmer believe in her faith and religion because without this she would not have been where she’s at today. This is the main reason why we need religion or faith in schools so students can learn and lead by example of someone who believes in faith.
When I read this article it made me want to read it all over again. I agreed with what she believed in and how faith makes a difference in schools and in education. I believed her when she quoted that her students have been created in the image of God (Genesis 1: 26-27) and therefore have significant potential to do or become whatever they want to be in life. This is the goals or the feedback that children need to hear or want to hear that no matter what they circumstances are right now they can achieve and be anything that they set their heart and mind too.
