Selecting the right tool
I don’t know how many times I have done it or seen someone else. It will always come up and you just don’t have exactly what you need. What I’m talking about here is the correct tool for a job. This can become a difficult task and also can cause damages to the item you are working on or yourself. Wrong tool selection is a common mistake, or just plain laziness. There have been many incidents where a bolt or screw has been stripped or bored out simply because you do not have the right screwdriver or wrench. First thing is you need to understand the metric and standard measuring rate difference. They are made in different standards because of what they are made to work with. Metric tool sizes are measured in millimeters (mm); standard tool sizes are measured in fractions of an inch. This is done basically on the size of bolt you have to put in or take off. For example European car models have metric size bolts and need to be taken off using the metric size tools.
