Thurgood Marshall was born July 2, 1908 in Baltimore, Maryland. Thurgood Marshall was involved violent arguments about law with his father and his brother at the dinner table. His father is William Marshall, was a steward at an exclusive club, and his mother is Norma was a kindergarten teacher.
Adulthood
Marshall had spent most of his adult life serving and fighting for the rights of minorities and individuals. He is often referred do as one of the greatest constitutional lawyers of the 20th century. Thurgood Marshall was an U.S supreme court making him the nation’s first African American to serve on the high court. Thurgood Marshall had 2 wives. The 1st wife is Vivian Burey.
