I strongly believe in gay marriage, i feel like if you truly love someone whether they are a male or female, it shouldn't matter! I think that gay marriage should be legal because it is uncivilized. our civil rights and the constitution give us many liberties. one of our civil liberties are the pursuit of happiness, which gay people are not able to chase. They can’t legally be with the true person they love and it violates their freedom. In Alaska, Nevada, Montana,
Oregon, Utah, Nebraska, Missouri, Michigan, North Dakota, Ohio, Kentucky, Oklahoma,
Kansas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, and Alabama, gay marriage is banned, and so is civil partnership. All these states are making the gay people suffer, they can’t have the freedom they want. If a man and a woman gets married, nobody cares. Those two people feel affection towards each other, and want to start a family. but as soon as two males, or two women want to get married and try starting a family, it starts a uproar. Imagine waking up to the world being completely opposite, where gay people were straight and straight people were gay. People would act so much different, i know that the gay people would treat the straight people badly because they did it to them. What i'm not understanding is, why can’t it be legalized in all states? its not like it’s going to affect peoples lives. Even though gay marriage should be legalized some people have different beliefs, in most religions,
