Assignment 1: Temperature Variance over Time, Space and Volume

Introduction
For the class of Lab 1, we spend time on discovering temperature variance over time, space and volume. Like our lecture said, we observed temperature change over time in containers holding different volumes of water. My report is based on the data provided from my professor.
Werg , . "What is the relation between the volume of liquid water and the temperature?" Physics Forums. Phys.org, 27 3 2007. Web. 6 Feb 2014.

Prediction
With the volume of water decreases, the rate of temp. change is increasing.

Hypotheses
If the more water we have, then it costs more time to change the temperature of the water, no matter warn it or cool it.

Methods
The way I calculate the rate of temperature change:
Rate of temp. change= change in temp./ change in time
(such as in Temp-change-Data.xlsx, the rate of temp. change of 2000ml between 0-5 min. is 18-20/ 5-0= -2°C/ min)
The reason for why we divided the time in multiple time intervals:
Multiple time intervals both in short and long term are used to make the experiments more exactly.

Results
1. Are water temperatures different than air temperature? How are they different?
The water temperatures are different from air temperatures. The water temperature is more stable than the air temperature. From our data collected, we can easily found that the air temperature changes
