Hello, everyone. I am marco. today, I would like to talk about magnetic levitation. this is my topic, magnetic levitation. let us move on the next slide, that is my outline including introduction ,using and advantage.

What is the magnetic levitation. That is magnetic levitation, magnetic levitation is a method by which an object is suspended above another object with no support other than magnetic field .the electromagnetic force is used to counteract the effects of the gravitational force anybody know how does it working?

The first one ,diamagnetic materials repel a magnetic field. We know that we get the opposite magnetic ,it will be levitated. Secondly, make sure all materials have diamagnetic properties, but the effect is very weak, and usually overcome by the object’s paramagnetic or ferromagnetic properties, which act in the opposite manner. Lastly, it can be held in stationary position, because the magnetic force is strong than gravity, so the force of magnetic can counteract the gravity.

In the future, where can be used to magnetic levitation? Maglev trains, is a system of transportation that used magnetic levitation to suspend, guide and propel vehicles with magnets rather than using methods such as wheels, axles and bearings. with maglev, a vehicles is levitated a short distance away from a guideway using magnets to create both life and thrust. high –speed maglev trains promise dramatic improvements for human travel if widespread adoption occurs. Maglev train move more smoothly and somewhat more quietly than wheeled mass transit systems.

The maglev train in the photograph does not need wheels, because it ‘floats’ above its track by magnetic levitation. under the train, we can view the structure about this. The green beams is magnetic rail, and ‘T’ styles beams is electromagnetic levitation magnets which is cover the electricity. it will got the short distance between ‘T’ styles beams and green beams with a bit friction. Guidance magnets can propel the train by electricity.

At the same time, magnetic levitation can be used in particle accelerators, it is a device that uses electromagnetic fields to propel charged particles to high speeds and to contain them in well-defined beams.
Maglev technology could give space vehicle a running start” to break from Earth’s gravity.
Lastly，Maglev wind turbine can be used for generate electricity. It is useful in life. maximum overall efficiency of windmill is 30%,the remaining energy if mainly lost in friction. And than if the same windmill is operating at 50%of its maximum speed the efficiency becomes very low. Due to wear and tear performance od the machine deteriorates.
