I WENT FOR A WALK TODAY. AS I WAS WALKING I REALISEED THAT THE ONLY WAY WAS FORWARD..FORWARD THROUGH LIFE, WE MOVE THROUGH THE DAY AND NIGHT. ALWAYS MOVING FORWARDS. WE CAN NEVER MOVE BACK, WE ARE NEVER MOVING BACK..THAT ISNT POSSIBLE IS IT. ITS LIKE WE'RE AFRAID TO JUST BE. AS I WALKED, I REALISED THAT I DIDNT WANT TO TURN BACK, I WANTED TO KEEP MOVING FORWARD, ALWAYS FORWARD. HA!

AS I SIT HERE WATCHING THE CARS TO AND FRO PASSING ME BY UNNOTICED, SITTING: STILL, UNIMPORTANT, THATS WHAT WE ALL ARE ON THE MAP OF LIFE, WE MAKE UP THE WORLDS DISTOPIA OF THIS WORLD A VAST NOTHINGNESS WITH MENIAL PROBLEMS AND AGENDAS. ON THIS EARTH WE'RE JUST ANOTHER CONSUMER; ANOTHER LIVING BEING;STEALERS, STEALING FROM NATURE.
WE STEAL THE OXYGEN AND THE NATURAL RESOURCES
LONG since, I lived beneath vast porticoes,
By many ocean-sunsets tinged and fired,
Where mighty pillars, in majestic rows,
Seemed like basaltic caves when day expired.

The rolling surge that mirrored all the skies
Mingled its music, turbulent and rich,
Solemn and mystic, with the colours which
The setting sun reflected in my eyes.

And there I lived amid voluptuous calms,
In splendours of blue sky and wandering wave,
Tended by many a naked, perfumed slave,

Who fanned my languid brow with waving palms.
They were my slaves--the only care they had
To know what secret grief had made me sad.

In the rapture of life and of living,
I lift up my head and rejoice,
And I thank the great Giver for giving
The soul of my gladness a voice.
In the glow of the glorious weather,
In the sweet-scented, sensuous air,
My burdens seem light as a feather
They are nothing to bear.
