Secret Life of Walter Mitty Walter Mitty fantasies on many different and unusual things. Here are some of the things that he fantasies on. He fantasies on being a surgeon, watching a trial take place, and being a commander in a Navy Hydroplane.
Walter Mitty might imagine being a doctor because he knows he can’t really be a doctor in real life so this is one of his fantasies. “In the operation room there were whispers of introductions: Dr. Remington, Dr. Mitty. Walter mitty fantasies about being a surgeon. Which leads him dreaming that he is a famous doctor? Later on the attendant jolts Mitty back into reality. After words the attendant starts to make fun of Mitty and embarrasses him. Walter Mitty said to the attendant later that he will be back next year and be in sling.
Therefore Walter Mitty can imagine outrageous and crazy things, such as him being a trial. “Without rising from his chair, Mitty let the District attorney have it right in the chin”. “You miserable cure”. Walter Mitty then starts to fantasies about being in a courtroom. Later he starts to get fed up with the District attorney so he punches the man right out for disrespecting this woman.
However Walter Mitty can dream about being a doctor he can also dream about being a Commander on a Navy Hydroplane.
