Pyramus and Thisbe Take The Stage By Storm!

The play ‘Pyramus and Thisbe’ is about two people who were in love with each other. But sadly, their parents came in between them because they were not in good terms with each other. Unfortunately, the parents built a wall which separated their houses so Pyramus and Thisbe could not see each other anymore. But Pyramus and Thisbe could not take it anymore so they decided to run away together. When they ran away, they planned to meet up at a Mulberry tree. As Thisbe was there first, she saw a lion hanging out and he yelped. She was scared and ran off rapidly with fear but left her shawl behind. Subsequently, Pyramus showed up and saw the terrifying lion tearing the shawl apart. Pyramus was heartbroken and chose to stab himself with a razor-sharp sword thinking that the lion had killed Thisbe. A few minutes later, Thisbe came back and saw the horrible situation that happened and decided to stab herself with the pointy sword. When they both died, some the mulberries were covered in blood and they turned to a brownish colour.

Thisbe who was played by Flute was a good actor because she made it really interesting and she brought tension to the audience. She was using an interesting voice expression while she was running away from the lion.
The Lion played by Snug really grabbed the attention of the audience with its loud roar and he never broke out of character.
The Wall who was played by Snout really stayed in character all through the play because he just had to stay still in one place.
The Moon who was played by Robin Starveling was a good moon because he gave good eye –contact to the audience but however it did not light up. As a result, they needed to use lanterns . Finally the Director who is Peter
