The United States of America is known to be the first cosmopolitan democracy of the modern world. America has this reputation thanks to their strong military that continues to enhance America’s freedom and independence. Enlisting into the us military is an honor to the country but if it was required for 18 year olds to serve at least 2 years in the military it would put America's freedom and their citizens security in danger. Placing the safety of America in the hands of unexpericenced teens is like handing blind people the rights to drive.
First of all, when America was founded it was designed to be a place were people could practice any religion freely and have a say in the government. The preamble of the constitution clearly states “We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” America grants people the liberty of making their own choices. If America forces its inhabitants to serve in the military then all of its principles would be thrown away. Americans' rights would be threatened and discrepant citizens would flee to seek refugee somewhere else. If this unconstitutional law was to be set in stone then other unconstitutional laws will be bound to follow. America’s government will crumble. Taking its citizens with it.
