I. Introduction A. August 28, 2013 marked the fifty-year anniversary of the “I Have A Dream” speech. 1. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was actually born Michael Luther King, Jr, but he changed his name. Dr. King won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 after the 1963, “I Have a Dream” speech. 2. “I have a dream that my four little children will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” 3. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached right here in Montgomery, Alabama at his church on Dexter Avenue. 4.
