Freud introduced theories and beliefs that brought us to the discovery of psychology and the complexities of the mind. One of Freud's insisted beliefs was that our behavior thoughts and emotions stem from unconscious fears and desires often rooted in childhood experiences. Morris Eagle, professor at Adelphi University, agrees with this theory of Freud. Our personalities and even phobias root from specific experiences that we have dealt with, more so traumatic ones. Every type of interaction that humans encounter is engraved in their minds and (subconsciously) effects the way that act in similar situations later on. Another one of Freud's theories is that with help of trained therapists we can understand the source of the issue within a person and assist them in recognizing it, giving the patient a sense of relief. However, just because a person recognizes what their problem is does not mean it is at all dimmed down, relief is not promised.
