KNOW?
 Today there is an increase of children with Manic Depression, also called Bipolar Disorder, and Autism
Spectrum Disorder. Kids with Bipolar
Disorder can be irritable, angry, and emotionally very reactive, and their mood and behavior shifts unpredictably. Children with Autism may have some problems including difficulties with social interaction, rigid thinking and behavior, difficulties with language and communication, and difficulties with emotions.  Fortunately, brain science has drew attention to a promising new approach to therapy. Research has shown that our brains are capable of enormous change. It’s called neuroplasticity. This finding is giving rise to new solutions such as biofeedback that use this capacity for change to treat many psychological disorders or conditions. At the Brian & Mind

BUT WHAT IS
BIOFEEDBACK?
Biofeedback, also called neurofeedback or neurotherapy, makes use of the brain’s capacity for change to reshape brain networks. It is a way to directly train the brain to function better.
Biofeedback is a research supported treatment to sharpen attention, relieve anxiety, enhance mood, and improve learning, and behavior without medication.
