Dear MTSU Administrator,
My name is Davion Mauzy and I am currently an enrolled student at Middle Tennessee State University. I am aware that the school is receiving government funding and is thinking of projects to invest this money in that may serve the well-being of the school. I believe that I have come up with an optimum solution as to where this money should go to. I have been doing some research and I notice that there are two residential halls that are currently unoccupied on campus because the strength of the building is questionable. Whatever the reason may be, I think it is clear that the Ezel and Abernathy buildings will no longer be dormitories for MTSU’s students. I believe that it would be best if the university took the government funding that it receives and built a brand new dormitory for its students. I am aware that there is an abundance of open space next to the parking lot near the Student Union. This would serve as the perfect location to build a brand new building. This is also convenient because you would not have to pay for the gratuitous cost of tearing down an old building to build a new one. I have researched estimated cost for such a project including agricultural and contractor fees, and I don’t think that the expenses are too overly demanding. If the university did feel like the costs for this project are too excessive I would rebuttal that the university could easily earn these funds back with the room and board money that they would gain
