The Epidemic of Teenage Pregnancy

I have learned a lot based on the research I did on teenage pregnancy. People in society treat pregnant teens like outsiders because they feel as though teens should know right from wrong. On the other hand majority of the time when girls get pregnant at an early age it isn’t intended. Society Sees them as irresponsible and careless. The topic of teenage pregnancy is very controversial and everyone has different opinions. Also if there were schools with day cares it would be helpful to teenage mothers and it will help them stay in school and still be able to graduate on time. Sex education should be mandatory in all schools and other sex related programs to help educate teenagers. “ Unfortunately the United States still has the highest rate of teenage pregnancies when compared to other counties of similar status. Some have questioned this because they do not feel the teenagers in the United States are any more sexually active then those in similar countries. It goes back to education about sex and pregnancy prevention within the schools and homes. More should and can be done to help the teenage birth rates decline even more. ” The fact that teens cannot take care of there child on there own and grandparents have to take part is also a problem. The grandparents may feel like they are responsible for there grandchild which shouldn’t be . The
