New Technology
Does new technology really improve our way of life? Or does it make us creatively handicapped? Does special media make us more or less connected to others?
Technology has exceeded humanity but has also destroyed it as well. Everything is more convenient and accessible due to advances in technology across almost all sectors. But where has the excitement of figuring out something for yourself went? It makes things much easier but also makes individuals sluggish and less independent. Remember when the only way to get to know someone is by face to face verbal communication, now individuals can meet and become friends with others just by one click on the web browser. Technology has its advantages and disadvantages.
Technology has made things easier for individuals, companies and anything or anyone that had a problem with something. Technology improves jobs and even education. Individuals can sit at home make money and get a full education just by using the internet. Also, persons can make payments and do business in the comfort of their homes without worrying about the hectic rush and even late payments. Technology has improve transportation, communication and entertainment for the generation. Airlines, light railways and cars show the enhancement in technology. In olden days, horses and ships were the only source of transportation. Emails, texting and video calling are the most popular ways to communicate with someone now. Rather than sending letters and mail through the mail box. Remember when marbles, cards and other outside games were the only thing “fun”? Now every child from the age of six and up has an iPod, tablet or any electronic that is able to connect to the internet. New technology has really change the way of life and made things less complicated and interesting.
Even though the use of technology improved everyday life it has destroyed it as well. There're many people that can't see themselves without the use of new technology. An individual can become completely disable if a machine breaks or a computer crashes and will then be very lazy to do it manually until the problem is solved.
