Task 6 (2.2) Describe 4 acts of law which support health and safety.

Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995

This act places a legal duty for employees, self employed and those in control of premises to report any manor injuries, death and occurrences(incidents)that take p0lace at work; also any work related illnesses. It is important that these are reported in order for the local authorities to investigate any serious accidents and to identify where and why these risks have arisen.

Human Rights Act 1998

This act states that both children and adults alike have the right to be treated fairly and with dignity and respect.
