In conclusion, the best recruiting methods in terms of hires, retention rates and costs across all regions were referrals and the staffing agency.
4) Northern Oregon may have a point in relation to the staffing agency as this was one of the most efficient recruiting methods across all regions, however so were referrals. I believe the combination of the staffing agency and use of referrals allows for a more diverse group of candidates; those that like to network to find positions or are “touchy-feely” (referrals) and those who like to follow a more standardized recruitment process (staffing agency).
