Romeo vs. Tybalt Have you ever killed anyone? Well, Romeo and Tybalt killed multiple people. Although they have differences they also have similarities. Read the following sentences and you will know what I’m talking about. One similarity is that they both love Juliet. Romeo is married to Juliet so it’s like a marriage love. Tybalt on the other hand loves Juliet more like a family love. Juliet loves Romeo because she is married to him. Also, she loves Tybalt a lot because in the story they are family and because he died she was crying so much because of his death. The main difference of Romeo and Tybalt is that Romeo is a Montague and Tybalt is a Capulet. The other difference is, Tybalt likes to fight and gives him thrills when he does. Romeo doesn’t like to fight but he will if he has to. Romeo and Tybalt are killers though; Romeo killed Tybalt, Paris, and himself, but he also killed his mother, Lady Montague, by her grief from Romeo getting exiled and, Romeo also killed Juliet because she didn’t want to live without him so she stabbed herself when she saw Romeo dead. Tybalt, on the other hand, only killed Mercutio. Machnicki 2
