The Internet and Steroids: A Less Than Honest Relationship

Drug distributors are permitted to advertise and sell their merchandise online in today’s market. Their techniques attempt to mask dishonesty and lack of production integrity that over flow in the steroid market. Assuming that these entrepreneurs are concerned with their customer’s well- being and health would be naive. There are little to no consequences for a distributor who sends a drug from a legal “pharmacy” to a country where it is considered illegal. Also, it is difficult to distinguish whether the drug is authentic, contaminated, over dosed, under dosed, or something completely different than it claims. Experiences of product may be posted on websites, however your comment will be accompanied by false positive comments from “fellow users”.
For as long as I can remember, I have been taught to not believe everything you see or read on the internet because anyone can log on and write false information. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that most steroid websites are not truth based. As we saw in the film “Better, Faster, Stronger”, that we watched during class, it is easy to create your own drug cocktail and slap whatever contents on the label that you please.
Although, through the film, I did learn that there are people who can function normally and benefit from the use of steroids such as those with HIV/AIDS or muscle atrophy. In several cases subjects stated that
