Two goals from Martin Murray and an individual effort from Matty Johnson seen the Two’s secure their second win of the season at Suffolk Road on Saturday, injuries to players and Martyn and Hamilton being recalled to Scott Young’s squad left boss Spike Hill with a new pairing of centre halves and Marty Murray and Aaron Keenan coming in to complete four changes from last week’s team.
DC had endured a mauling at the hands of Linfield Swifts during midweek and had set their stall out for no repeat, the first 20 minutes were a bit ‘cat and mouse’ with Gerard Mc Veigh in the DC goal being the busier, slight domination by the Glens was rewarded on 22 minutes, Owain Beggs good run and pass found Murray in space and he swept a right foot shot past McVeigh.
