The various studies on the effects of cigarette smoking, it is responsible for one out of every five deaths in the world and is the most addictive and destructive over-the-counter drug known to human. The history and culture surrounding cigarette smoking dates back to before World War I. During this time tobacco was smoked mostly in the form of cigars and primarily by the wealthy. The number of people who smoked cigarettes boomed when the tobacco companies started to mass-produce cigarettes. For today’s people have so many different reasons why they are smoke. In most cases is stress, expression, social, loneliness or just fun. After people try smoking, some continue to make it a habit. It becomes an almost necessity for stress related problem an addiction. With smoking people have that reason to kick back and enjoy yourself for a couple minutes. Social thing is another large factor for people who smoke. If your outside having a smoke and see someone else outside with a smoke, it's often a great way to make conversation. Especially when going out to bars or clubs, those are prime social areas to meet people and socialize over a drink and a smoke.
