Street League Skateboarding is one of the many skating competitions around the world. Street League was created by Rob Dyrdek in August 28, 2010.
The first Street League competition was in Los Angeles California, now Street
League is worldwide and known by many people. The last Street League champion was Nyjah Huston, he has also won the most Street League titles. Nyjah is a 20 year old professional skateboarder who has also won many other titles.
(Image from http://www.monsterenergy.com/) The competition consists of getting the best results. You get two runs of fifty seconds each, if you fall your run is over. When you complete your run the judges give you a score from one to fifty depending on how much they liked your run. In the competition there is usually about nine players. Street League is worldwide. In 2014 it will start at the Monster stadium, then it will move to Los Angeles,CA and to finish it will be in Chicago Illinois.
The skateparks that SLS uses are custom. They are made and designed by a company called California Skateparks. California Skateparks is also one of their sponsors along with: Nike SB, GoPro and Fox Sports who is also their tv partner. Street League has been all over the world since 2010. They have been to:
Barcelona, Munich, Brassil and even China, when pro skater Chris Cole tried jumping over the Great Wall right before his competition there
