Neighborhood fast food outlets and obesity in children and adults
In this article that is very important to me is that they write about to inform the development of effective intervention strategies it is important to understand the underlying drivers of the obesity epidemic. There is a growing body of evidence that the consummation of energy dense fast food is likely to be important in a etiology of obesity.
They have some data from the age 8 to 15 year-old and their parent classified as overweight. They also calculate the body mass for the children and parent. They also test the children and parents physical activity. The fast food outlets within a 2 km radius of participants’ homes, density number, and the distance of the road network to the nearest fast food outlet. One of the family members of the boys or girls with at least one fast food outlet within 2 km of their home had lower BMI. The adult males that they live further from fast food then the higher BMI they going to have. The relationship between fast food and overweight because they lack of their physical activities and didn’t pay any attention that are eating. The children that have parent with a degree or education then those parent will know the food that is healthy or unhealthy. Those parents that didn’t have education then will just their children eat everything they want to.
