We have all seen the slutty girls in music videos and on TV. We all know the girl who sleeps around. It is not a in the closest statement that this generation is sexually active. Statistics say, by age 15, only 13% of teens have ever had sex. However, by the time they reach age 19, seven in ten teens have engaged in sexual intercourse. Sex is seems to be inescapable fascination in the halls of our high schools. These days, with marijuana on the low shelf, sex also seems like a drug that churns our insides. It's not like we can't control our teenage raging hormones, it's a choice made my individuals. Teens in our society today, have no boundaries, are constantly craving and acting on sexual impulses and losing the meaning of what it actually means to love someone with a pure and unpretentious heart.
For people to be told "No" is like telling them not to press the big, shiny, enticing, candy-apple red button. The act of the rebel is attractive to the young mind. Teens that grew up with the moral "don't have sex before marriage," not only had those sexual human desires but also suffered with feeling guilty about holding those desires. As humans, it is a desire that we crave. Not only is it a matter of acceptance and pleasure, but many people have sex to test for compatibility. What does it mean to be good at sex? Why should that connection be the determining factor of a relationship? It should not be. Pride is damaged, relationships become shallow and respect is lost the moment you give away your precious gem that is your youth and virginity.
All these lustful feelings from sex before marriage are hindering the youth of today of what it means to have true love. "They know everything they ever wanted to about sex and yes, they do it younger" (Moyes). What does it mean to be in love? What is true love? People will never understand with all these erotic emotions blurring their vision.
By having sex before marriage, one throws away something sacred. If a man or woman is willing to wait, through a vow of marriage, a bond will be built that is longer lasting than a simple hit and possible run. "This generation finds it harder to sustain long-term relationships because in our 'throwaway society' most pleasures are fleeting" (Moyes). The act of sex has become an everyday activity: mindless with lost meaning. This society has become corrupt, as it now rests on this generation's shoulders. Sex, of course, is not all sprinkles and frosting.
The country we live in has one of the highest unintended pregnancy rates, one of the highest abortion rates and one of the highest rates of sexually transmitted infections. Sometimes, it is not a matter whether sex before marriage is wrong or right, but it's a matter of how this generation and generations to come view the world. Young people's attitudes towards sex are a reflection of the society in which they are growing up - a shifting, fractured, mobile and individualistic society. My mom is always saying, "This world is going to Hell in a hand basket." Nothing is pure or sacred anymore, not in this society; the only place it still exists, is in people who grasp the concept of a real and true friendship and what it means to have that treasured bond with someone.
Friendship vs. relationship can be a huge determining factor in a bond between two people. True love is true friendship. It is an undeniable love between two people. "A friend is someone that you can confide in with complete trust. A friend is someone you respect and that respects you, not based upon worthiness but based upon a likeness of mind" (Amos 3:3 KJV). Without the foundation of friendship there is no such thing as love. Put aside the voluptuous sexual desires and consuming butterflies; look at what really matters. With friendship as the true basis of love, it comes to show how sex is not the most significant part of a relationship. Although in a strong, mature marriage, sex can be a beautiful

Carlos Salinas, and Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. NAFTA removed most of the tariffs that each country levied on the import of goods from the other countries in the Agreement. Ecosystems are delicate communities of interacting organisms, and as such, factors impacting upon one part of it can cause knock-on effects throughout. Due to this, the increase in mean temperature in across the world may have a great effect on the populations living there. The direct effect of a temperature increase will be experienced on the molecular level initially. As the temperature rises, it causes the molecules, and atoms within them, to have more kinetic energy. This causes them to move…
