William Jefferson Clinton was re-elected as president of the United States in1996. During the last 4 years Bill has had a lot of problems from Whitewater and sex-scandals. Whitewater is a summerhouse-area where Bill and especially his wife, Hillary, a couple of years ago, made some suspicious money transactions. And now to the sex-scandal a young girl is right now trying to win a case against Bill Clinton. She claims that the president, when he was governor in Arkansore, cameto a hotel where she was a waitress or something like that. He should then have asked her to come to his room later that day. Another big problem to Bill is that he has been unable to fulfil those very bigpromises he gave during his election campaign in 1992.

One of the most talked and publicsied scandals involving Bill Clinton was the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Monica iwas a 22 year old intern working in the White House who claimed to have various sexual encounters with Clinton during his presidency on 9 seperate occasions. Clinton's first denial of these rumors was in 1998 stating as following "Now, I have to go back to work mind your buisness on my State of the Union speech. And I worked on it until pretty late last night. But I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people"
