The effect that the number of shares had on the people infected was that the more shares people had the more people that were infected. By using the line graph we can predict how many people would be infected from 10 shares which possibly would be almost the whole class. A way to stop these diseases is to use contraceptives such as a condom, Abstinence and dental dam. Condoms reduce the risk of getting HIV/AIDS by approximately 84%, human papillomavirus in woman by approximately 70%. The way condoms work is by blocking sperm during ejaculation from entering the vagina. Dental dam works as a barrier by being held over the vulva or anus which prevents the transmission of bodily fluids and skin contact. Two third of all STI’s occur among youth between the age of 15-24. Abstinence is evident during the prac when people found out who had the Sodium Hydroxide in their cup they were less tempted to interact with the person. This led to 5 shares having less people infected then 4 shares with a difference
