The organ systems that I choose to discuss were the female reproductive system and nervous system.

For life to have an ongoing process there must be the process of creating new life. This process is called

reproduction. Human beings reproduce in much the same way as other mammals. There is need for

both male and female to be involved in the human reproductive process. On the other hand the nervous

system is the most complex system in the body. This particular system is well needed for the brain and

the rest of our body to function properly.

The female reproductive system consists of the fallopian tube, ovum, ovary, uterus, cervix and vagina.

These are just to name a few and the things they do. A female also has breast, they go through

menstruation and pregnancy. To narrow it down it’s basically how the female body works and what is

inside and outside of the female body. The organ of the female reproductive system contains the uterus,

ovaries, and a few associated organs. The uterus is located in the lower abdomen between the urinary

bladder and the rectum; the uterus is the cervix. The ovaries are a part of the fallopian tubes that leads

to the uterus; and the vagina that leads to the outside the body. Along with the vagina is the clitoris that

is in front of the urethral meatus. The female body has two ovaries that contain millions and millions of

eggs that are discharges every month which is called menstruation. The fallopian tubes are pass ways for

the eggs, if an egg attaches to the uterus walls and there was sexual intercourse a female can get

pregnant. This is where pregnancy begins.

The nervous system is a very complex system in the body, it has several parts. The nervous system is

divided into two main systems, the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system.

The spinal cord and the brain make up the CNS. Its main job is to get the information from the body and

send out instructions. The peripheral nervous system is made up of all of the nerves and the wiring. This

system sends the messages from the brain to the rest of the body. The brain keeps the body in order. It

helps to control all of the body systems and organs, keeping them working like they should. The brain

also allows us to think, feel, remember and imagine. In general, the brain is what makes us behave as

human beings. The brain communicates with the rest of the body through the spinal cord and the

nerves. They tell the brain what is going on in the body at all times. This system also gives instructions to

all parts of the body about what to do and when to do it. Nerves divide many times as they leave the

spinal cord so that they may reach all parts of the body. The thickest nerve is 1 inch thick and the

thinnest is thinner than a human hair. Each nerve is a bundle of hundreds or thousands of neurons

(nerve cells). The spinal cord runs down a tunnel of holes in your backbone or spine. The bones protect

it from damage. The cord is a thick bundle of nerves, connecting your brain to the rest of your body.

Both the nervous system and the female
