The Book that Saves
Almost every day I ask myself the same question, what is the point in life? And every day I answer that question with, to live my life for God and to try my hardest to resist the urge to sin. The reason I am able to answer this question is just from a book called the Bible. The Bible is split into two sections the Old and New Testament. The Old Testament is the history of how the Jews (God’s chosen people) survived by worshipping the one true God who saved them from persecution, death, slavery, and gave them their laws. The New Testament is about how God sent his only son, Jesus, to save our sins, so that everyone could live eternally with him in heaven (instead of going to hell), and the teachings of Jesus. The reason I would try to save the Bible is because it show me and everyone else the way to everlasting life.
One reason why I would try to save the Bible is because I would rather worship God, who I know exists, and retain everlasting life through him than go to hell. This verse of the Bible sums up how to retain everlasting life, “For God so loved the world he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not parish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). This verse clearly states that if I believe in God and ask him into my heart I can gain everlasting life (I believe that you should also follow what the Bible teaches you, so you can gain riches in heaven).
The second reason why I would try to save the Bible is because God has helped me through some of the darkest times of my life. God has helped me through these times by giving me the strength, courage, love, and hope I need to get through these times. An example of when God has helped me through one of the darkest times of my life is when my baby sister Ellyson Marie Maki died of a terminal illness. He helped me through this time by showing me how much he loves me by putting it into the heart of one of my Youth Leaders to pray for me and my family every night, and to pray with me every single Wednesday and Sunday.
The last reason why I would try to save the Bible is because God shows himself to me every day by forgiving me, and showing me that he loves me by letting everyone have the chance to ask him into his or her heart. In the Bible it says that if anyone asks God to forgive him

in his General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money: “Gesell’s main book is written in cool, scientific language; though it is suffused throughout by a more passionate, a more emotional devotion to social justice than some think decent in a scientist…I believe that the future will learn more from Gesell’s than from Marx’s spirit.” (John Maynard Keynes, General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money, London (1957), Book 6, Chapter 23, Section 6) With the realization of the local retiree card…

provide a quantitative estimate of the effects of increased leverage, there are still several qualitative factors to consider, as will be discussed below. Results Detailed calculations can be found in Exhibit 1 for D/V ratios (book basis) from 10% to 100%. Although we used book D/V as the label for each option (consistent with the case text), our debt rating/risk of default calculations were done using market D/V as described above. realistic fiction MONEY HUNGRY Money never hurt anyone ! The book was mostly about how Raspberry and her mother was poor and was living on the streets in a junk yard in a van with no wheels and a busted front window, so Raspberry was thinking of a way to raise a lot of money so she would never have to be in that situation again. Every page of this book had kept me interested in what will happen next with what was happening, like what is going on with Zora's…
whether or not the medications can be taken at the same time without causing harm. This is important for pharmacist because they need to inform their people about the risks of combining their medication. Another thing that impressed me was the space saving shelving system, which has expanding and retracting shelves that save a lot of space. These are very expensive, therefore you will not see them in most libraries. The information available in this library appears to be user…
I chose the book, “Go Green Get Lean” by Kate Geagan, because it sounded appealing to me. As a new vegan, I am more interested in reading about the effects that fruits and vegetables can help our bodies and the benefits that outweigh the negatives of eating a plant based diet. However, the book was not all about going vegan. Kate Geagan, MS, RD, has appeared in magazines including Prevention, and Family Circle. She has been in the nutrition industry since 1999. Ms. Geagan explores the “inconvenient…
