In the late 17th century the 13 colonies joined together to fight against the British empire for their own independence. The British empire overly taxed the colonies and didn't treat them as independent people which led to the war. Because the 13 colonies fought the war against Great Britain they gained their independence. The American revolution had impact the independent movements of other nations. John Adams was the second president of the United States his wife Abigail Adams wrote a letter to him on "March 31st, 1776" stating that women should have the same rights as men. Abigail stated in her letter that they " will not hold ourselves bound by any law in which we have no voice or representation ".
Abigail's voice was heard in 1920 were the right of citizens in the United States were able to vote no matter what gender they were, this was the 19th amendment of the constitution.
Families in these seven states Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland NY, South
Carolina and Rhode Island were the last states to abolish primogeniture. This gave the families the freedom to do what they wanted with their money. In the north where most slaves were free African Americans thought that they should have been treated equally since they were free slave with education. A group called the National Assembly was established on June 20th, 1789 led by Honor
Gabriel Riqueti, taking the tennis court oath pleading to create a new constitution. Because they thought that they should maintain the true principles of monarchy.

On the 26th of August 1789 three weeks later that the National Assembly was established, the National Assembly of France approved of the " Declaration of The Rights of Men " which was the document that guaranteed rights to the French people. Influenced by the
United States " Declaration of Independence " every person was equal, but in France the king and many nobles did not embrace the declaration. The citizens would remain with the
French citizenry in perpetuity. The French Revolution de Juliet in 1830, also known as the July Revolution. The France revolted against the government of king Charles X ,not only middle class wanted more voices in the government. The revolution toppled Charles X of France. Both classes were willing to raise a duke to the vacant throne and Louis Philippe's also known as " citizen­king " was proclaimed king of France. Things didn't work out with the new king
Louis Philippe's was stubborn and refused to sponsor electoral reforms that precipitated the Revolution. Paris rose against him on February 22, 1848 and 2 days later drove him into English exile. The French people now had the power to overthrow the king at least kick him out like they did with King Charles X and King Louis Philippe's. In Latin America the Haitian people wrote a letter to the king of France asking that they wanted freedom. Just like the 13 colonies did with Great Britain. The people from Haiti were mostly slaves.
