MY MEMORIES IN ITALY

Finally I had arrived at my final destination, the great city of Naples, Italy. The agonizing twelve hour flight was finally over. I had finally touched down on Italian soil; the half day trip had completely drained me. The jet lag was already starting to kick in; I could hardly keep my eyes open I was so tired. The only two things on my mind were to eat and sleep. Coming to Italy to see my sister and brother in law were like a dream come true; traveling to Europe was something I had wanted to do my whole life.
I really didn’t know what to expect from this trip; I had been told that Italy was a place of great food, wonderful scenery, and full of history. My timing was great, I had come to Italy just in time for the World Cup; the greatest and biggest sports event in the world. It was amazing to see just how much the Italian people cared for their soccer team. The sport of soccer was so huge to these people, that if a game was being played during the day all of the stores and businesses would close just for the game. The whole lifestyle was completely different from mine back home.
My sister had planned so much for me to do while I was there I was so excited. The first week I was there my sister took me to a city called “Diamante”, the name of the city stood for diamond in English. It truly was a marvelous city, from the crystal clear blue water at the beach, to the amazing scenery witch surrounded every twist and turn there was. The air was so crisp and clean, hardly any pollution at all, compared to the busy streets of Los Angeles where every breath you take is a hit of grimy air. With the sand between my toes, a thirst quenching Corona in my right hand, a mouth-watering pizza in my left and beautiful women in my sights… I was in paradise. I was already
