Romeo and Juliet perfect paragraph

Thesis Statement- Because there are many versions of the famous play that have been made into films, William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet can be an interesting topic to compare and contrast.
Topic Sentence- One benefit of having many versions of Romeo and Juliet is that allows us to focus on certain versions that can teach children valuable lessons and that they can relate to.
Claim 1- Different characters of Juliet in different versions of the play allow more girls a chance to relate to her.
Data- “To focus on these character traits and values as a part of the study of this play adds a dimension that all students, especially girls, respond to and identify with” (scoble).
Because- Usually, a male is the hero of the stories we read. This forces both boys and girls to always view the male as a hero and female as a lesser figure. However, this article teaches us how to look at Juliet as the hero and describes characteristics of Juliet that younger girls can admire.
Claim 2- Some versions of Romeo and Juliet focus on the maturity of a young girl Juliet which is a good a good lesson to teach children.
Data- “Both male and female students will profit from reading about women who have the courage of their convections and a willingness to accept the consequences of choice” (scoble).
Because- This article exhibits a young Juliet’s was willing to make a tuff decision
