Friends, Romans, countrymen lend me your ears; I come to talk about Brutus. Many call him honorable but I call him unhonorable. He has tricked you with every word he has said. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie and is exaggerated. when he spoke to you all he wanted to get you to like him and convince you it was good that he killed Caesar. He convinced you to think he did it for rome but he did it for himself. Even Antony thought the same thing he states “ You all did love him once, not without cause, what cause withholds you then to mourn for him?” He wants you guys to feel guilty for him. I loved caesar and so did you all, so why should we let this man leave without a fight, thats what caesar would have wanted. He would have wanted us and Antony not to turn his face and walk away. He killed him brutally even when he said he didn’t want to, he stabbed him 33 times. he felt every single blade go into his body. How is turning your back on a so called friend okay? If Brutus was honorable he wouldn't have been so easily persuaded by Cassius to go as far as committing a murder. Brutus did what he thought was best for Rome, but overall was disloyal and committed a huge sin in the process. He loved Caesar as a friend, but was so easily set back by Cassius. Who had obvious dislike for Caesar. “Yet I see thy honorable mettle may be wrought from that it is disposed”, was said by Cassius himself intended toward Brutus!
