Revelations is the signature choreographic work by Alvin Ailey. The piece is breathtaking and the performers made it look effortless with their amazing technique. Revelations consisted of three different parts. The part we watched in class was a pas de deux between a man and a woman. The genre of the routine was lyrical and the music was hymnal and the words that I could make out from it was “Fix Me Jesus”.
