Introduction

The purpose of this assignment is to conduct a critical examination into the major factors that impact on the performance or profitability of Company 1 and Company 2 which belongs to the hotel industry. The major statistical tools that are employed in this report include regression analysis (for the linear additive model) and the t-test for the comparison of the two companies. A questionnaire will also be used to collect data.
