One of the most difficult obstacles in achieving personal self-development is the lack of a good action plan. It is not a difficult task, but requires learning to be efficiently executed. The result should be an effective practise to reach my goal. This is done by the inclusion of an Action Plan, which will assist in reaching my goal and narrow my focus and drive to achieve that goal. To enable me to create an Action Plan, I first need to list particulars of thing needed to do to accomplish my goal. This is done by

By working together I find different ideas and points of view beneficial to my course work , and interactive discussions enlightening by covering points of learning I have overlooked. We work as a unit and give helpful advice and tips to each other which strengthens our relationship as a team.

Time management is also one of my weaknesses which in turn involves procrastination. Procrastination is habitual and can be fuelled by the thought of failure. Upon reflection I have discovered that distractions such as surfing the net, reading email and playing games are all forms of procrastination, which is the thief of all time. To address this fault I am learning to allocate specific times to conduct my studies by establishing a routine I can follow most of the time. I now prioritise and ask myself how many jobs I have to do in a given period of time? How many really need to be accomplished? and devise a routine and endeavour to stick to it. Essay writing is something I have not been involved with for 40 years, I have found that the skills needed to create and execute successful writing is totally different from when I was last an academic. I am learning to make sure I interpret the topic correctly and understand , to research and gather information relevant to the topic. Researching topical information must be accurate and certain sources of information can be dubious. Books the internet and journals are all types of accessible
