The everyday product that I chose was the razor. The reason why I picked the razor is because it’s a product that I use very frequently to keep my face smooth and clean looking. I shave with a disposable probably 3 times a week but than after those three times I toss it out in the trash. The brand of the razor is Schick; the design is very simple; it consists of an easy to grip handle and three razor blades that flex and pivot to adapt to the contours of your face, and with Vitamin E and Aloe. The razor handle is made out of plastic that is roughly five inches long and the actual razor blade is made out of steel.
Overall I think that the Schick razor is pretty good. This is because how close the blades get to your face so that you will have a close shave every time. The pivoting of the blades is also a great feature because everyone’s faces are shaped different and they also have different shaving techniques. But there are some bad points in the design; for me the handle kind of hurts my hand especially at the worst times like shaving near the lips and ears. Also I feel like the blades get dull very quickly; you’re basically using a razor a week and that adds up. For the most part this product is nor environmentally friendly. This is because like I said earlier you go through so many razors so fast and you’re just tossing out plastic.
If I had to redesign this razor first I would start with that handle; I’m not saying it is bad but definitely needs to be redesigned.
